New imagery of a previously unidentified Ukrainian mine has appeared
The mine is now identified as the PTM-L1 (Ukr: ПТМ-Л1)
It is a metal-bodied, anti-tank shaped charge (ATSC) mine, intended to be deployed by uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV)
The PTM-L1 reportedly has a magnetic influence (MI) fuze, possibly a Johnnie programmable fuze, or equivalent
Its warhead features an explosively formed projectile (EFP) liner that delivers a belly attack on a vehicle
To ensure the correct orientation of the mine, it is assumed that the UAV lands, or hovers very near to the ground during delivery of the PTM-L1
