New Ukrainian PDP proximity fuze

A previously unseen Ukrainian proximity fuze was discovered within a DP-02 UAV-delivered anti-personnel (AP) mine

  • It is unclear what type of proximity sensor the fuze incorporates (e.g. microwave doppler, magnetic influence etc.)

  • The example in the left-hand image has an arming delay of 10 minutes and a self-destruct delay of 90 days

  • The fuze seen with the DP-02 mine (right-hand image) has an arming delay of 6 hours, and a self-destruct delay of 90 days.
