Attribution policy

We welcome the use of Fenix Insight's data, visualisations, analysis, and other information, but always with the proper attribution. This policy outlines how users should properly attribute data, analysis, visualisations, and other information produced by Fenix Insight.

How to cite Fenix Insight & METIS

Fenix Insight publishes a large amount of information online via our website, Blog and METIS (Munitions, Events & Technical Information System). This includes (but is not limited to) reports, analysis, images, visualisations and data, as part of Situation Reports, technical Bulletins, newsletters, case studies and METIS pages.

We welcome the free use of this information, however Fenix Insight, as the source of the data must always be clearly and prominently acknowledged.

This applies to uses of the original Fenix Insight data, as well as any manipulation of or additions to the data, and regardless of whether the information is used in offline or online publications, and for commercial or non-commercial use.

Proper acknowledgment includes:

  1. A footnote with the full citation, including a link to Fenix Insight's main website (https://www.fenixinsight.com), or in the case of Blog articles, to the individual page from which the information was taken.

  2. An in-line citation or acknowledgment, stating that Fenix Insight is the source of the information or image.

  3. Online articles should always include a link back to Fenix Insight.

Fenix Insight Logos

The Fenix Insight logo should only be used in the provided colours.

Please never attempt to recreate the logo, instead, always use the supplied files. If you require the logo in a different size or format, please contact us.

Master Logo

To ensure maximum legibility, our logo should not appear smaller than 30mm or 150px wide.

Horizontal variant

There are times when the portrait logo is not suitable depending on the format or scale. In these instances, our official horizontal version can be used instead.
