Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) reported that depleted uranium (DU) was contained within an R-60MK air-to-air missile mounted on a Geran-2

  • The R-60MK has a 3.5 kg high explosive fragmentation (discrete-rod) warhead, containing DU rods, with the mass of DU within the warhead reportedly being 1.6 kg

  • The crashed Geran-2 was recovered after a strike near the village of Kamka, Chernihiv

  • Elevated gamma radiation of 12 μSv/h was recorded at the site, with the SBU identifying the material as Uranium-235 and Uranium-238
