Video shows testing of uncrewed ground vehicle (UGV) dispensing TM-62s in Ukraine

  • 15 mines held on trailer and deployed down chute with approximately 2-3 m spacing

  • Mines are tied together with rope to achieve spacing

  • Use of UGV removes need for risking personnel or specialist engineering vehicles to deploy the mines

  • Only allows for surface deployment

  • The rope may snag on passing vehicles and drag mines, potentially leading to initiation even without direct contact

  • Smaller UGV deploying TM-62s in Ukraine reported on by Fenix in Jan 2024
