The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) reportedly captured a Hezbollah weapons cache in southern Lebanon

  • The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) reportedly captured a Hezbollah weapons cache in southern Lebanon

  • Within this cache were several guided missiles from the Kornet-EM (Ru: Корнет-ЭМ) anti-tank guided weapon (ATGW) system

  • The Kornet-EM system is the latest Russian export iteration of the domestic Kornet-D1 (Ru: Корнет-Д1) system, with these being part of a much larger Kornet family

  • Visible markings show the following were present:

    • 2nd from left: 9M1133-1 (Ru: 9М133-1)

    • Centre: 9M133M-2 (Ru: 9М133М-2)

    • 1st from right: 9M133F-1 (Ru: 9М133Ф-1)

  • It is likely these missiles were provided with the portable components of the 9K128M-1 ATGW, instead of the self-propelled (vehicle-mounted) system
