  • Ukraine presentation on downed Kh-101 refers to "dipole anti-radar reflectors" consisting of "a stripe [sic; strip] of foil, metalised paper, or fiberglass“ – commonly referred to as chaff​

  • Chaff dispensing remains unconfirmed beyond UKR presentation​

  • Combination of chaff and flares would counter radar and infrared (IR) seeker air defence missiles​

  • Dispensed at terminal phase as these are most likely areas for air defence engagements
