GMZ-3 minelayer destroyed in Kherson, believed to be a Russian vehicle.

  • Introduced in 1984. ​

  • Uses common GM tracked chassis​

  • Mines laid by being automatically fed from cassette to dispenser then through ports in rear hull plateto conveyor​

  • Deploys a total of three mines; these are either TM-46, TM-57 or TM-62 ​

  • Mines laid with concealment are dispensed through the plow assembly and laid in a

    furrow made by the plow then armed with a time delay fuze. ​

  • Mines laid in loose soils ( or snow) are concealed as the furrow is closed.

  • Distinctive road wheels​

  • Drive sprocket at rear​

  • Small angled, fixed weapons structure on hull​
