AO-2.5RT submunitions have been modified by Ukrainian forces for dropping by uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs)

  • AO-2.5RT submunitions have been modified by Ukrainian forces for dropping by uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs)

  • The mechanical I-352V fuze is replaced with an electronic fuze

  • The electronic fuze is likely similar to the "Johnny” [Ukr: Джонні] programmable fuzes)

  • The fuze may initiate via:

    • Impact (accelerometer)

    • Delayed movement (accelerometer)

    • Non-contact (magnetometer)
