A crashed Iranian Shahed-107 has been recovered in Ukraine. A video shows a further Shahed-107 flying over Sumy. This is the first evidence of Russian use of these drones in Ukraine.

  • A crashed one-way attack UAV (OWA-UAV), believed to be a Shahed-107, has been recovered in Ukraine

  • Ukraine claims it is a new, larger, variant of the Shahed-101; however, the presence of a larger warhead and 4-channel CRPA antenna suggests this is a Shahed-107

  • Neither the Shahed-101 or Shahed-107 had been previously reported in Ukraine, despite other Iranian designs deployed and manufactured under licence by Russia

  • The Ukrainian post claims that both these types are being used increasingly at the frontlines as tactical OWA-UAVs.
