Imagery of a reported 2024 production Ukrainian anti-tank mine has been released

  • Imagery of a reported 2024 production Ukrainian anti-tank mine has been released

  • The exact designator is unknown but the new mine aligns with the TM-62P (Ukr: ТМ-62П) series, which both Ukraine and Russia field (along with other nations)

  • The outer body is a non-metallic plastic, so detectability will be dependent on the fuze type

  • It incorporates a fuze well that is compatible with conventional TM-62 series mine fuzes

  • An adaptor for the Johnnie programmable fuzes is likely to be available

  • A protrusion on the side of the mine, with a white cap, is probably an auxiliary fuze well

  • The high-explosive (HE) fill is assessed to be 8-9 kg
