After recent use of North Korean submunitions in Kherson and Pokrovsk, its associated 122 Sanpo dispenser rocket has been seen in Ukraine

  • More imagery of a Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK, A.K.A. North Korea) 122 mm dispenser rocket has been released

  • The rocket was being disassembled in Ukraine by Russian forces, likely to access the submunitions for UAV munitions

  • It has been provisionally designated the 122 Sanpo (KN: 122 산포, translation: distribution), based on the DPRK 107 Sanpo (KN: 107 산포) which is also in Ukraine

  • The rocket carries high-explosive dual-purpose (HEDP) submunitions and is believed to be fitted with a powder train time fuze
