9M723-2 missiles modifications

A missile being referred to as the 9M723-2 is an updated version of the 9M723-1

  • The 9M723-1 and 9M723-2 are fired by the 9K720 Iskander-M system

  • The 9B899 penetration aids on the 9M723 and 9M723-1 have been omitted on the 9M723-2

  • Kometa controlled reception pattern antenna (CRPA) are fitted to reduce susceptibility to jamming or spoofing

  • The Kometa arrays may incorporate either 8 or 12 antennas
