Some recently crashed Geran-2 and Geran-3 one-way attack UAVs have been modified with infrared (IR) lights on the wingtip fences
These IR lights are believed to act as a countermeasure by dazzling IR-targeting missiles and interceptor UAVs
It is unclear whether they are permanently active, activated by an operator or illuminated by the UAV itself when engaged
We send out new Bulletins via email, directly to our METIS enterprise-level users and publish them on our Blog the following week. To receive these directly to your inbox as soon as they're released, please contact us to subscribe or upgrade your account.
